Please use these resources to help promote and invite guests to the Market!
Be sure to “like” the Wichita Alternative Gift Market facebook page, then invite your friends to do so, as well! Also, RSVP for the Market on the “events” page (even if just “maybe”) and invite your friends. Please post photos and comments about your meaningful holiday shopping experience!
Thanks to My-Trinh Nguyen and Jennifer Tran, long-time volunteers, you can find fresh content with lots of detailed information on a regular basis on the market’s instagram page — new for 2017!
“Follow” the Wichita Alternative Gift Market twitter site. Please remember to tag it when you tweet about the @ICTAltGiftMkt and our many partners!
Wichita Alternative Gift Market can be found on Google Plus by searching for “Wichita Alternative Gift Market” or using our Gmail address, firstname.lastname@example.org. (P.S. If you have any tips for using Google Plus successfully, please be sure to let us know–we don’t really “get” it!)
2017 BUSINESS CARDS
Print the two-sided, color PDF or Word document below on letter-sized card stock, cut (8 business cards per page; or use pre-perforated business card pages), and distribute to your friends, family, colleagues, church members, and everyone you meet! Use “actual size” printer settings for best results.
2017 MARKET PUBLICITY POSTERS
Click on the PDF link below to print the one-sided, color PDF document on glossy (recommended) paper. Trim if necessary, to 11 x 17 in. (or 8.5 x 14 in.). Then hang copies in your neighborhood cafes, office bulletin boards, etc. (Be sure to get posting permission first, of course!)
2017 BULLETIN/PROGRAM INSERT
Click on the PDF link below to print the two-sided PDF document. Then include in your congregation’s worship service bulletin or your organization’s brochure or event program as an informative insert to promote your volunteer work!
2017 MEDIA RELEASE
Steering committee volunteers send the media release to as many Wichita-area press contacts (radio, TV, magazines, newspapers, communication consultants) as we can think of. But if you have a personal connection or a specific contact at any local media outlet, please don’t hesitate to send it to them — it’s that personal connection that could make the difference! We have a very small budget for publicity/marketing, as the majority of the funds raised on market day go to the projects themselves — to the people in our community and around the world who are in need. In other words, we don’t pay for very much advertising; so please help us try to get as much free publicity as possible — let’s make sure everyone in Wichita knows that they are invited to the market!
Click on the PDF link below to print the one-sided, color PDF document. It is best to use “actual size” (rather than “fit to print”) settings. Print on thin cardstock (recommended), cut (4 per page), and distribute to as many people in as many places as you can think of!
2017 SAVE THE DATE LABELS
Click on either the Word or PDF document link below to print on Avery 5160 or 8460 address labels (30 per page, 1 in. x 2 5/8 in.) and adhere to AGI catalogs (or anything you’d like) before distributing to your friends, neighbors, coworkers, church attendees, or just around town!
2017 POSTCARD INVITATIONS
Coming late October! Click on the PDF link to download front and back sides of this 4×6 inch postcard invitation. Adjust and print as necessary onto card stock. Be sure to affix US Postal Service first-class rate postcard postage before mailing to your friends!
